Our commitment

Meetchina365 is a business-to-business sourcing platform for the global pet industry. We want buyers, suppliers, and partners of all abilities to be able to discover products, review supplier information, and send sourcing inquiries.

We are working to make the site usable with keyboards, screen readers, screen magnification, and other assistive technologies. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we welcome reports about barriers you encounter.

Standards we aim for

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our reference standard. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and other disabilities.

WCAG is a technical standard, not a certification. We cannot claim full conformance for every page at every moment, especially where content is supplied by third parties. We use the standard to prioritise fixes and improvements.

What we have implemented

  • Semantic page structure with headings, landmarks, lists, and breadcrumb navigation.
  • Keyboard-accessible links, buttons, form fields, navigation menus, and image gallery controls.
  • Visible focus styles for interactive elements, including product actions and the mobile menu.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images, with empty alt text for purely decorative images.
  • Responsive layouts that work at different screen sizes and zoom levels.
  • Colour combinations chosen for readability, with status messages that do not rely on colour alone.
  • Form labels, error messages, and status announcements for the inquiry and cookie preference forms.

Known limitations

Some content is provided by suppliers or other third parties, including product photos, factory videos, certificates, and downloadable documents. We cannot guarantee that every item has been authored with accessibility in mind, but we can remove or replace content when a barrier is reported.

Some older pages and third-party embedded services may not yet meet the same standard as the main site. Video content may not have captions or transcripts unless the supplier provides them. If you need information from a video or document in another format, contact us and we will try to help.

Feedback and alternative formats

If you encounter a barrier, please email chloe.song@meetchina365.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. To help us respond quickly, include:

  • The page URL and a short description of the problem.
  • The task you were trying to complete.
  • The browser, device, and assistive technology you used, if relevant.
  • Any screenshot or error message that helps explain the issue.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 business days and to provide the requested information in an alternative format where reasonably possible. If a page cannot be made accessible immediately, we will discuss an alternative way to provide the content or complete the task.

Ongoing improvements

We review new pages and components for accessibility as part of development, and we prioritise fixes based on their impact on users. This statement will be updated as the site and our practices change.
